Dear Colleagues,

Hepatitis B and C viral infections are global health concerns and their prevalences are particularly high in the Asia Pacific Region. It is our pleasure to invite you to the 1st Asia Pacific Perspectives Forum taking place on 18–19 June, 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The program will focus on improving the clinical management of patients infected with hepatitis B or C virus in the Asia Pacific region offering advice for application in clinical practice. Topics for discussion include the optimization of current therapies, as well as new advances in both treatment and predicting/monitoring treatment response.

The contents of the meeting have been designed to be relevant to clinical practice with the format of cases studies and debates to enable all delegates to be actively involved in the program and to share clinical advice and experiences. We are delighted to confirm that, in addition to the distinguished Steering Committee, we have an excellent expert international and regional faculty for this meeting.

Graham Foster (UK), Ferruccio Bonino (Italy) and K. Rajender Reddy (USA) will be representing the international hepatitis community and we are also honoured that many eminent regional hepatitis specialists have confirmed their participation, allowing for in-depth discussions of regional and local issues.
